Kate's question: How are children’s voices and opinions included in formal schools?
An example from the field (James):
- A project approach called QEIP, Quality Education Implementation Plan, in Uganda encourages schools to plan longer-term.
- All stakeholders (children, parents, community members, teachers…) produce a 5 or 10-year plan for their school.
- Once it is approved by the district, the school receives funding (from War Child) to realise the plan.
Do you have any other examples to share?
